I've just found my g.grandfathers birth Cert and found his mothers name was Ellen GABAGAN/GAHAGAN/GEOHEGAN etc etc. Father was Patrick Flanagan. The mothers name looks like GABEGAN - but I've never heard of this - has anyone else? And what county (I assumed Cork - but could be wrong!) is it from? Thanks Jane
