If you have access to a LDS Family History Center try looking for his birth in the yearly indexes for civil registration of births in Ireland, they start in 1864. Send the index details to Dublin GRO for a photocopy of the complete entry from the registers. If you know any of his siblings first names search for them also. They had 8 children, Daniel, Frances, Kevin, Edward, John, Michael, James and Julia. He died in New York City in 1947. He had two sisters that I know of who lived in Beverly Massachusetts.
