My ggrandmother was Mary CONROY, daughter of John and Katherine (MALOON) CONROY. She was born abt 1835 in Ireland and married in WI USA in 1853 to Anderson WOOD. My grandfather always said she was from County Cork but I have been unable to prove this (maybe she boarded the ship at Cork?). Any information or suggestions on where to look would be appreciated.
