Looking for information about my DONNELLY ancestors, who were grocers/wine merchants, Church of Ireland, and living in Mitchelstown, Cork, in 1805. John DONNELLY, who had a grocery business on the Town Square, married Elizabth GRAHAM in Cork & Ross, in 1818. Their children were baptized in Mitchelstown between 1819 and 1826: Anne Eliza, Michael BARKER, Ursula Hannah, John SALTWELL, and Charles. By 1829, they had moved to Limerick, where Elizabeth LOVE, their last child, was baptized at St. Michael's. According to family lore, John's parents were Michael DONNELLY and Elizabeth DUNNE, whose parents were Charles DUNNE and Margaret McNEALE. Michael was said to have a brother Ramon (Raedhmon). I haven't been able to verify these details. Have searched the usual sources, including directories, deeds, probate indexes, early census substitutes, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
