Thank you Lorraine EGAN< It is along the Lee River valley in Co Cork, west of Cork city and east of Macroom, on the north side of the river. Any regular map of Ireland will show it. My great grandfather was born there in 1854, but we have not been able to figure out what the family was doing there at the time. He was baptised there also, church of Ireland parish of Magourney.
