    2. Terry and Micheal You can also contact the Ireland Valuation Office and they'll make copies of the originals. They did so for me and charged approximately $40. That's how I found a relative still living on the land!     3. This is a bit of an aside, but I have been recently looking through the index of the Resiter of Deeds for County Cork, going through all the names, looking for Hannans and Grahams. In the course of this search, I couldn't help noticing a lot of deeds for the Cronins. The deeds that I am looking at are for the period 1780 to 1805, So I assume that anyone owning land at that time would have to be Protestant. It's clear that there is information to be had from this source on the Cronins of Cork, at least for the ones that owned property likely to be registerd by a deed.
