Dennis, I downloaded the audio from you lecture on the Genealogical Sources: County Cork. Your lecture was very informative, however, it would have been super if one had access to the handouts that you repeatedly referred to during your lecture. The handouts did not come with the audio download. Your lecture would be complete, if one had access to your handout. Do you have this handout on a web site somewhere??? I will be looking forward to hearing from you. A correction to my earlier message - unfortunately Mary LOANE born 1799 was the daughter of Daniel and Mary, not Thomas and Mary, I misread a line in my data. Apologies as it would seem this Mary may have died since this couple appear to have baptised another Mary in 1815 - who may be the correct Mary as she would be about 18 in 1833. However, as there are significant gaps in the registers at this time, the Mary who married Robert GOOD could equally be the daughter of a number of other LOANE couples baptising children in the probable timeframe. Robert GOOD married Mary LOANE 1833 according to Casey. No location given but the LOANE family are concentrated around Bandon. >From my records, Mary may be the daughter of either Thomas LOANE and Mary COLLINS (born 1799) or Daniel LOANE and Mary HAYNES (born 1815). Given the naming of their children perhaps Thomas and Mary are more likely - also Susannah and Harriet are names of other daughters of Thomas and Mary, who are most likely my 3x great-grandparents. There is buried in my Callahan family plot a lady by the name of Catherine Sullivan O'Callaghan. She was married to Callahan O'Callaghan. I have a copy of her death cert. Her father is Owen Sullivan, mother Catherine. She died in 1888. A search at Mallow turned up a Catherine Sullivan, b 1/11/1842 to Owen Sullivan and Catherine Horagan. Siblings are Jeremiah 1834 and Margaret 1838. The family was from Ballyglass. Can anyone add more info to this? I am searching for the connection to my great grandfather Daniel Callahan in whose plot she is buried in CT.
