Mrs. Likai's husband, Robert, remains in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center from the mishap. Likai, 64, was driving west in Broad Street when his car was struck by a Burlington Northern engine and pushed 450 feet south along the tracks to Clay Street. Police said witnesses, including the train's brakeman, Richard Burris, said Likai failed to heed warning bells and flashing red lights. ========== The Seattle Times Monday, July 16, 1973 Page B7, Column 2 Deaths and funerals Likai, Dorothy A. Seattle, July 14. Beloved wife of Robert. Mother of Thomas Likai and three sisters. Private graveside services were held at Acacia Memorial Park under direction of Adams Forkner Funeral Home, Monday, 3PM.
