My uncle said they were wheat farmers. One census shows them living in Fitton End and later, Sutton St Edmund. My G/Grandfather, Henry Coulson (1853), was born in a place called Newton,(Cambridgeshire). He was a shoemaker and later went to Liverpool. I have not found any direct Coulson links in England yet.
