I believe that his father was Thomas Jefferson Myers. I ran into his name while looking at one of his in-laws, Isaac Rankin, who was captured aiding the Confederacy on 12 Aug 1862. I've been able to follow Robert S Myers through several prison of war records where he is listed as a citizen. Somtimes spelled Coolson on records. They married in 1920 and divorced sometime between 1930 & 1938, when she married my husband's grandfather. I located Charles in McDowell County, West Virginia on the death rolls. He died in 1941 of a broken neck. He was a miner, so I am assuming it was on the job. I'm trying to locate information on him and when & why they divorced. If anyone is related, it would be great to see a photo of him or Virgie when she was younger. Durham. There is rumour of twins but I cannot find trace of them. Can anyone confirm that their mother was Margaret DAVISON?
