    3. Hi, I'm Sue from Oz and I'm looking for my ggrandmother Elizabeth Coulson (born about 1859). Her father was Joseph COULSON, a blacksmith, and her mother was Isabella EDGERTON. I've been stuck on her for years in regards to her birth and her marriage to Thomas BALLANTYNE which should be found before 1886. Can anyone help me please! -----Original Message----- From: EleanorCol@aol.com [mailto:EleanorCol@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, 1 February 2000 2:33 To: COULSON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [COULSON-L] Coulson/Colson research Hi everyone, I am the admin for the Coulson list. 3. Hi Everybody and especially Jennifer, I am researching COULSONs in Haltwhistle Northumberland area between 1600 and 1800. I am searching for any data on Bartholomew COULSON who died before 20 March 1706/7 in Haltwhistle. His wife was Mabel ? and their son was William COULSON. William had a daughter, Jane COULSON born 26 March 1692 at Calfield Farm, Haltwhistle. Jane died before 3 March 1766 Haltwhistle. Jane married 17 April 1710 at Haltwhistle to William KENNERICK/KINNERICK/KINDRED. William was born about 1690 in Haltwhistle. I have more on the KENNERICKs but that's all on the COULSONs Any help much appreciated, Marta Metcalf >Do you know exactly where in England they were >from? Daughter Pheraby married JOSEPH CARROLL WILSON who died in late December 1866 (his will was read on 2 Jan 1867). We don't know when Pheraby died but it was after Joseph's will was read. 1. [COULSON-L] Welcome!
    2. Hello! I am the new administrator for the Coulson mailing list. I took this list on because Coulson is a variant of the name Colson. You are invited to join the Colson list if you would like. We have been posting on the surnames Colson, Coulson, Colston, Coleson etc since early December of last year. We also have Colson GenConnect boards that have incorporated the surname Coulson since this time. There are already quite a few posts on the Colson GenConnect boards for Coulson, so you might want to take a look at them. Plus I have other pages set up for marriages etc that also have the surname Coulson. That url is http://members.aol.com/eleanorcol/colsonfam.html. You might consider posting in those areas also. Happy hunting! Eleanor Colson Coulson-list administrator EleanorCol@aol.com
