Richard, Do you know if Jeremiah Couch had a sister, Nancy, b c1775, who md Drury Bush and moved to Clay County KY by 1819 (on a tax list that year)? I am trying to find who her parents were. According to one web site, they married in Russell County VA. I have seen no actual proof of that. Thanks for any help. Joyce

Okay, been doing research on my Claxton's again. Here is a Bush connection, not necessarily my direct line of Claxton's, in Caldwell Co., Ky in 1829 a Emily M. Martin was born to Henry James Martin and Sally (Bush) Martin. Emily's brother was James Claxton Martin. who was born in Gibson Co., Tn. Any help would be appreciated. I do know that there was a Martha Martin that lived with first Ford and Sarah Mathis in Alcorn/Tippah Co., Ms then with Hiram and Temperence Mathis Claxton same place. Sincerely, Nancy "Joyce H.
