    3. Robert three of the best sources that we have found on the Couch lineage are: 1. "Genealogy" by Willard Heiss. A publication of the Family History Section Indiana Historical Society, July1983, No. 78. This is a Case Study in Family Reconstruction within a "Burned County". by Elizabeth Shown Mills, CG, FASG. 2. "The Virginia Genealogist, Volume 30, number 4, Whole number 120, October-December, 1986." The Virginia Genealogist (ISSN 0300-645X) Editor: John Frederick Dorman, Published quarterly by John Frederick Dorman. This covers A Case Study in Family Reconstruction with in "Burned" County, by Elizabeth Show Mills, CG, FASG, Tuscaloosa, Alabans. 3. A History of Buckingham County (VA) by Eugene A. Maloney but this is just a history of the county and important historically but may not be worth the trouble to research. These are just some of the works that might help in our quest for facts but as all published materials needs our own verification. I don't have a web site for the Anderson line but will try and search later today. As to any one who has taken a DNA from the John Couch who died in Hopkins County in 1840, I have not a clue. I can identify only three male descendants by name but other wise I have no idea where they could be found. This is descending order: John>James>John>Orrel (my greatgrandfather)>John W>Roy Virgil>Roy C. Sons of Roy C: Roy Virgil Couch, born 15 Aug 1948; Gregg Milton, born 4 Feb 1950; and John george Couch, born 18 Sep 1852. I do know that Roy C was born 19 Feb 1922 and died Dec 1982 in Sheridan Co, WY and was married to Pola June Barney, on 1 Jun 1947 in Rawlins, Caron Co, WY. This is all I can help you with but may it will be some assistance. best searching. ellen
