Dina, I am a Bowie researcher, and also work on my wife's family, which is Lee Couch and Salley Marshall of Orange County, NC. For the Bowie researchers, I have setup a group in AOL as a Cousins List. When I get mail of interest, I send it on to the list. I have 105 names in my list, and very often mail is not of interest to everyone, but someone, somewhere will benefit, or have the information a person is seeking. If someone would take the responsibility of setting up a group and maintaining it, one click of a mouse could contact the entire list. I used blind copies to prevent misuse by someone with other motives, and to protect privacy. That means the group would have to be set up in blind carbon copy mode from the beginning. Another cousin in Maine (I am in Olive Branch, MS) has another list and we reciprocate; he forwards my mail and I forward his. We are very careful to use the list only for research related topics. I hope this helps. Everette Bowie PS: My wife's grandfather was John T. Couch, who married Adeline Miller of Tunica, Mississippi. They are both buried in Goodrum Cemetery in Eudora, Mississippi, DeSoto County. John T. Couch was born in 1841 in Orange County, NC. He is on the 1850 census as 9 years old, with his parents and two siblings. EB
