He was a member of the Faith Hill Presbyterian Church and a retired farmer and logger. He was born in Owsley County on July 2, 1910 the son of the late Ezechial Couch and Margaret Caldwell Couch. he is survived by his wife, Eva Baker Couch, Booneville, Ky.; two sons, Ernest Couch, Somerset, KY; Everett Couch, Milford, OH; three daughters, Charlotte Baker, Norwood, Oh, Lola Bishop, Booneville, KY, Molly Brown, Liberty, KY; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dewey Couch, Booneville, KY and Columbus Couch, Oneida, KY; several neices and nephews. Funeral services were Sunday, 10 a.m., March 12 at Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McClure. Burial was in the Shepherd Cemetery with Rev. Junior Combs officiating.
