Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Silas Devoe and Myrtle Tumlin Finley. Mrs. Couch was a homemaker, and a member of Gap Hill Baptist Church and the Adult Ladies' Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, Albert K. Couch Sr., of the home; four sons, Devoe Allan Couch of Easley, James Randall Couch, Isaac Eugene Couch and Albert K. Couch Jr., all of Six Mile; two daughters, Pamela Diana Whitaker and Alicia Ann Cox, both of Six Mile; one brother, the Rev. Doyle C. Finley, of Liberty; two sisters, Bobbie Carnes of Iva, and Carolyn Gilstrap Hanks of Greenville; 29 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gap Hill Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Boyce Whitman. Burial will be at the church cemetery. The body is at Robinson Funeral Home, Easley, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, and will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
