Dear All, I apologise for my poor memory in advance and hope that all on this list are actually interested in the subject matter. For those of you who are please visit this link: http://www.couchfamily.info <http://www.couchfamily.info/> Because of my enormous amount of family history and related data, collected over the last six years or so, and my trouble in exchanging it with so many of you I decided to publish it to a web-site for anyone to browse at their leisure. Believe me it still needs a lot of work, but perhaps with all your help, I might actually get some of it sorted out in the end. The information published to the website above is only a fraction of the information I have acquired, particularly on the Couch family and on areas such as Boscastle, Tintagel and surrounding parishes. So if you do have particular queries on a line that is covered by the web information , I might (although I do stress MIGHT) have something else hidden away that I could not use myself but recorded "just in case". I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes to all things Cornish and of relation to me and mine. I'm also very sentimental. Some of you have probably helped me compile this information, particularly Malcolm Couch, to whom I express my grateful thanks. For those of you whom I need to do stuff for like, get a picture or visit a church, please bear with me. Boscastle has been badly affected as you will be aware this year and some roads are not passable, which makes other routes far worse. Added to the fact my car did a vanishing act 6 months ago, I'm a bit dependent on hubby being about so I can get around. I haven't forgotten you, my bag is stuffed with requests. I also have a number of pictures available, not all mine, of certain people and places locally. Anyway, I hope you find something you find of interest for yourself in the website, it certainly isn't perfect, it needs editing and I'm no expert, but hey - share and share alike! Please feel free to spread the word! Best wishes and apologies where appropriate. Sarah Melton, Tintagel, Cornwall mailto:sjmelton@thelawnranger.co.uk PS: Peter and David - there is quite a bit on the Bellamy family and their connections with Tintagel, the Byron mystery and the relationship to the Homans and Sir Sydney Waterlow. If you have the email address for the Tintagel OPC then please pass this email on. PPS: To my immediate family: Roger, Andrew and Jonathan - this should be a bit of fun for you to explore and try and make some sense of! PPPS: To Malcolm - you might finally be able to see what I've been rambling about and I hope you and yours are happily ensconced on the IOM.
