I have seen mention several times lately of Claxton's marrying into the Couch line. I also have a Claxton/Couch marriage Lillie Mae Claxton who married who married Coy Bateman Couch. She was the daughter of George Claxton. Does anyone have her in your lines? Carol

Carol in my Claxton family history book these are the George Claxton's that I have. George Glenn Claxotn born 1912 son of Arthur Ellis Claxton and Cloe Ann Hardin . He married Georgia Rushing 1933 Sapulpa Ok. they had Janonnes Lynn Claxton. George Riley Claxton born 1873 in ark. died Sept 7 1876 parents James A. Claxton and Nancy Elsworth Nelson born 1849 ? died in 1892 Sharp Co., ARk. She married James A. Claxton on 5 Oct 1865 in La Grange, Fayette Co., Tn. James A. Claxton is the brother of Hiram Madison Claxton. James A. Claxton also married Eliza A. E. Bass on Dec 18, 1851 in Tippah County Ms. she was born in 1834 North Carolina.
