It was a request to change the county of the asummed death as its impossible for her to have died in ashe co in approx 1782. As Ive prior noted Ashe was not formed till 1799. Therefore its a mis indication of the fact for new people researching a line. . Another point I may add for your info, there is a wealth of info on this list, that is being with held by the kentucky Couch lineage. Simply for the reson, we seem to get nowhere, when presenting facts or theory. You info is WRONG on your site as to the historical facts of the formed county i.e place of death. The request still stands.. unless you want to bypass totally the historical fact of forming the NC counties. See prior link sent in original post as to the date of formation of said. And I should add now while Im at it. I so note on the Martin Couch line some people have added lineage without fact or proof. I know one that has absolute no documetation as to their line or even they are a Couch, yet you added their "projected lineage" I.E they were adopted and have no proof they are even a Couch Also In speaking with Ida Hancel, she did NOT give permission for you to list her email address nor lineage..As Im in contact with her almost daily. She wondered how you got the info to post on her. She did say you emailed her once. But she didnt want her personal info posted.
