Hello Everyone and Happy new Year. To the ones in Group 5 we have 14 Couches that are in Group 5 9 of the 14 have took the 25 marker test Only 4 of those 9 match with what we thin The old Thomas in Virgina should have been. I would like to see the other 5 get raised to 25 marker and see if any of those match up with the rest of us. I would like to hear some opinion on this from some of you. Also on the lines that don't apear to connect to anyone, if we got another test even a 12 y test from another part of this family it might show something. we Acomplihed a lots last year with the DNA tese even tho some don't think so. and for a while a lots of us worked together. I know some was not happy with the results thay got back. And it seem to mess up the Genealogy some had. but in the long run it will help. We still have lots of lines that come to a dead end that have never took the dna test. even a 12 y marker would show which group they fall into. It apear we only have two or 3 main Couch lines, The othes have been started not too far back from adoption or someone raised a child and gave them a Couch name that was from another name. If everyone would work together we could get most everyone in group 5 linked together in the next couple of years. I think we all know lots more about the COUCH Family than we did this Last year.
