Hi, Diane - My John Couch was married to Sarah _____, not Eunice. Huldah is the daughter of John and Sarah. I don't know if John is Jonathan, but this is the first time I have found the name of Huldah on this list. Sure caught my interest! I do not have any information on John's or Sarah's ancestors, so I hope this leads somewhere. Liz
Jonathan Couch, the son of Ebenezer and Ann Crane Couch, was born 16 July 1736 in Redding, Fairfield, CT. He married Eunice Griffin, son of John and Sarah Nash Griffin, 15 Aug 1759 in Fairfield, CT. On 2 April 1777 he was put on a committee of 9 to take care of the families of soldiers serving our country. I have 2 children for them - Lucy who married Joseph Frost and and Eunice who married Dimon Mallette. Both of these daughters removed to Catherine, NY. I have their lines. Jonathan's brother, Ebenezer (Jr), was a Captain in the Revolution and died in Washington Co., NY. Hope this helps.
