I have been trying to track down Huldah Couch for years! You can imagine my excitement when her name was listed as a daughter of Jonathan, You mentioned Eli, Lucy and Eunice are the only children traced. Do you who their mother was? The information I have on Huldah is as follows: Father - John; Mother - Sarah b. 23 April 1763 Redding CT md. Isaac Whitehead 27 March 1791 d, 7 Jan 1838, Salisbury CT? I would be thrilled if a connection could be made. Liz

I am so glad my information helped someone. That information is from the book, "The History of the Town of Catherine, Schuyler County, NY". It was compiled by Mrs. Robert Clever (Mary Louise Catlin Cleaver), published by The Tuttle Publishing Co., Rutland, VT. 1945. As a source, we found it accepted by the Sons of the Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution. She began this work while gathering material for a paper on "Pioneer Settlers of the Town of Catherine," to be read at a meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
