Khandi, My great grandfather John Preston Couch was a brother to your Elihue (Elihugh) Couch of Rogersville, Tennessee. Some of his descendents still live in the Rogersville area. They have a greenhouse named the Couch Greenhouse. You could locate them via the phone book by that name. Elihue and my John Preston were the sons of Henry Couch of Scott County, Virginia. Henry was the son of Jeremiah of Russell County, Virginia. Jeremiah was the son of John of Buckingham County, Virginia. You can find some of this genealogy on the Couch website.
