Dianne, Thanks so much for all the research you have been doing for all us Couches. I just ran across two separate items you posted for Thomas Couch. One was for 300 acre plat Number s213019 in Vol 0014. This is dated May 5, 1767 in Craven County and a second one dated Occt 20, 1766 for 300 acres in Craven County from Vol 9, p 4. Are these two separate land grants. At one time I thought there was two but decided upon reading the Union County Map Book that there was only one land grant on the Enoree, River in SC. I believe this is my Thomas Couch but I am puzzled. Do these refer to the same land or is it two separate grants?
