Jesse Couch Jr. Jesse Couch Jr., 59, of Louisville, died Sunday, September 14, 2003. He was a retired meteorological technician for the National Weather Service, an Army veteran and a member of Fern Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Judy Spence; children, Jeff Couch, Kim Cotterell and Jessica Couch; grandchildren, Michael and Shelby Cotterell; brothers, Willard Childers and Ed Couch; and sisters, Joyce Adams, Lucille Bailey, Bessie Slusher and Blanche Johnson. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at Fern Creek Baptist Church, 5920 Bardstown Rd., with burial to follow in Penn Run Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at family-owned Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd. Memorial gifts may go to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
