BECKY, Thanks so much for the information on Francis Marion Couch. I am uncertain who William C. Couch was but surely they must be related. Francis Marion was a brother of my gg grandfather Meredith Jacob Couch who I have identified as in the 5th and 10th Alabama Calvary serving with General Roddey along the Tennessee Valley. In my book, One Alabama Couch Family<rcouch.home.mindspring.com> I describe the well documented civil war service of Cpl Jacob Meredith Couch Couch. Thanks so much for the information.
