I need some help from anyone familiar with the Couch line in Redding, CT. I am a registrar for the DAR and am trying to find an Elijah Couch, who the Grandmother's and mother's papers done in 1968, says was a son of Daniel Couch, A Revolutionary patriot. The Barbour Records do not list him nor does any other source except the LDS Sealing Records which took their reference from the DAR. This is not acceptable. Is there something that I am missing? He married Laura Platt. He supposedly was born in 1765. All of the documentation below him can be proved perfectly Does anyone have the children of Daniel Couch, Jr? I cannot find his childreren; it might be that they used him instead of Elijah. Thanks so much, Mary .
