Went to Gordon Co GA today and met with some potential cousins, and was very excited. He did the DNA test, and we'll send it off. He is a des of James (1818) & Martha Osborn (1815) Couch. Did you guys know that a lady has went through the papers on Gordon Co and gotten out the obits, of coarse no one is perfect, but hey at least she's trying. They are at the Calhoun-Gordon Co Public Library in alpha order in boxes for anyone to look thru. I spent $10. @25Cents a piece, and had a wonderful time. Also went to the deed office and the tax digest room. Now comes the time consuming job of sorting out one Couch family from another. I know there were at least two Couch families from there....
