My line is from Henry Couch m. Margaret Clancy, of Castlelyons, County Cork, Ireland. Immigrated to US (date unknown). Margaret and children (John, Henry, Johanna, Thomas, James, Elizabeth) are in St. Louis, MO by 1864, around which time the two daughters married (Johanna to ____Messing, and Elizabeth to John Kohler), as did Henry (to Johanna McCarty). In 1864, Margaret, John, and Henry and his wife moved to Chicago. Margaret died there. John met and married Ellen Geary in 1864, and they moved to Morris, IL, where two children were born (James and Mary). By 1871, John and Ellen moved to Kentland, Indiana, where five more children were born. John was a blacksmith. To date, I have not found a trace of Thomas. Beyond the marriage of Henry and Margaret, and the births of their children, I have not found much information in Ireland------but I'm still searching.
