Ellen, Thanks for the offer. First let me ask you to examine the Captain John Couch Sr b in Jamestown prior to 1740 who was born in England and was father to John and James of Buckingham County, VA. 1. Where did you find out about Captain John Couch? 2. Where in England was he born? 3. Do you know which ship he came to Jamestown and when? Your data may just be the great breakthrough we all have been looking for. The DNA tells me I share a common ancestor with (1. Dr. Richard Couch of Tulsa, OK who is from the same line you have. (2. Ron Couch of Kentucky also shares a common ancestor. His folks were in Virginia and North Carolina before they went to Kentucky. I keep getting hints that he may be related to your Buckingham County, VA Couches. If you send me your FTM data via e-mail do not sent it in an attachment for my iMac Computer seldom is able to open most attachments. Perhaps if you would mail me the 31 pages it would be better since the e-mail sometimes distorts the message. I will reimburse you your printing and postage cost. Thanks again. This could be really important. Robert H.
