Ellen, I am a bit confused. Exactly who is the man who you know descends directly from Capt John Couch of England and Jamestown? Is it the first John you mentioned or all those you listed i. e. I called Bev the other day and she said when researching the Couch line, she was researching another line and the Couch married into the line she was researching. I have not made any attempt to go back to England and search this line as I have not proven the other lines that I am also interested in proving. If something turn up along the way, I will get in touch. However, as I said before those three men (brothers) that are listed last are the only ones that you might get to take the DNA and the results be relevant to our search.
