Do you have listings and any other information for the following: Meredith "Merida"Jacob Couch of 5th and 10th Alabama Calvary enlisting about 1862 from Marion or Fayette County, AL? Francis Marion Couch enlisted from Marion or Fayette Counties in Alabama 1862-1865? Any information on these and other Couches from Fayette and Marion Counties in Alabama would be most helpful. Robert, Did you ever get your Civil War question answered? I looked up both of the Couches you mentioned. I couldn't find Meredith Jacob Couch at all. I did find Francis M. Couch and William C. Couch from Alabama. They both served in Co. I of the 4th Alabama Cavalry. That is all it says. They don't have enlistment dates or service records for either of these men.
