Most of the work on the early Couch names was done by Bev Blum long before I ever started research. She and I are related thru the Couch and Hunt line as well as Earle, Prince, Breathland, Moseley,etc. When Couch line married into the Anderson line is where this research started. I haven't tried to go back to England since I have been doing research as I concentrated on my immediate past and have tried to located and verify those names, families, etc. Sorry can't help with the time frame that started in England. One thing I do know that coming down the line from James Couch (my past) there maybe one or possibly two men who could be direct descendants but I have not found any more that would be suitable for a DNA. I will look for those if you want them but it will take me some time. At least that is my finding coming from Orrel G. Couch as he wasn't blessed with many sons. Since you have what I sent to Robert, perhaps you can pin point someone you would like descendants from and let me know which and I will go from there. Good searching. ellen >
