Kathryn, Thanks for so many tidbits of our greater Couch family. You are a gem. Off the subject I want to know if you have run across any tasty tidbits on the Lincoln County, TN Couches especially John Couch (Sr and JR) Thomas Couch, or other Couches who may be related o John and Thomas. The time period of interest is from about 1800 to 1809. Have you seen any evidence that a Jesse Couch was born there in 1805? Secondly, in the 1830/1840 Lawrence County, AL census that you posted online for the CouchGenWeb, I found I could account for all listed in 1830. However, I was surprised that Gabriel Couch was not listed. He is a known son of John Couch SR. Gabriel would have moved to Tishomingo County, MS by 1840 but should have been included in 1830. I have seen him recorded on the 1830 census in other places. Any comment or reply or research advice would be appreciate. Take care and thanks again for all you do to help us Couch researchers.
