Bob, Windwalker posted this to the list -- we have a document with her name on it - Mary Elizabeth Boon, with childe, wife of John Couch, dated 1774, in VA. We feel the "childe" was my ancestress, Sarah/Sally Couch, b 1774. That's why we've been using a fine toothed comb searching in VA/WV. We know they were there. I note spelling of name Boon. I don't know if that is significant or not. Tradition says Boone. Thanks for asking. Joyce
