Ellen, Thanks for your reply. Do you know how to contact Bev Blum? It is important to document just where this John Couch of Jamestown came from. I will look in census of Jamestown (which I have some of); ships list; tax lists and other places which could verify that Captain John Couch Sr of Jamestown came from England and fathered at least two boys. I certainly do not doubt your data but we simply must verify it with acceptable documentation. Bev Blum must have learned of this Captain John from someplace. We must discover where she got this information. Thanks for all your help. Help me to keep looking for this Jamestown John Couch.
