The John And Mary Boone line was taken down because this group has been bashing the CouchGenWeb for havin it up long enough. Claiming they was up without Documented proof and ect. As you state your self I provide this info for others to find others who are working on their same line. This line has started fudes and ect on the list and has just about killed it. Some from this line has been against the DNA project and sent out messates to everyone and has just about killed that. I feel it was a very good thing and has acomplished a lot. If the ones listed on the John Couch line will contact me and work with me on the line and keep it updated, I will put it back up. But it it is going to be a tool to be used agains me I will leave it down. All of the ones listed on the page has asked to be listed there, and have sent messages stating their connection, No one has connected me and told me I had some of their info wrong. but has use the mail list to bash the chart and twist thing around. Archives do not denote anyone was bashing the John Couch line archives denote, in the last go around the questioning of Martin Couch, s children By at least one person. {not me} Attempts to clear some of the historical dates pertaining to the line, went un heeded by you Bill. { just stating fact} Its come to light, that you contacted a person to help straighten the line. ANd after that the line went down Do you take down all lines, that others have questions on? Is is wrong to question DNA, when its not showing what was expected? Nor linking what others though it would. Others have asked you concerning info, and you have not answered them. What you have done by taking down the whole line is unfair in whole and in part. But you pay the server for info on the domain either private or commercial Its real funny one person, that admits you had contact with tells several people they have been contacted to "help" with the line. Not one post to this list has been seen where anyone questioned the John Couch line There was ONE post made of the problems with the Martin Couch line.... and thats in archives. Bill......I don't blame you for one minute for taking down the charts. It is your site and your choice on how to run it. Also, some don't realize or care to that the charts are there to put others together who are working on the same families. I have often told people to contact you if there is a problem and I think most do, but there is always a tiny discontented element out there that just likes to twist things and stir up trouble. Your site is unique and original in the genweb project. As for myself, and many others....THANK YOU, for all your time and effort! You are truly appreciated and maybe not told often enough.
