    2. Cousin Bob, Sorry to be so long in answering your last email. Have been busy with Gideon work, winding up this year's tax season, and doing repairs on our property we recently vacated for our new house here at University Village Retirement Center. We will be selling our old place to our youngest daughter when they sell their property within the next few months. You are ten days older than me! I was born March 30th, 1937. Your retirement is like many retirees I know; i.e. you have so many projects going you'd have a difficult time finding time to work. So it's a good thing folk like us are "retired." What you now need is to join Gideons International. That can be a full time job within itself. Our Oklahoma State Convention is this weekend here in Tulsa. I edit our state newsletter published six times a year. I conclude the last of a three year term as state Memorial Bible Coordinator. And I have another church report to give Sunday in a Christian Church here in Tulsa. Last Sunday, we were in a local Baptist church for a Gideon Sunday report. You'll enjoy doing taxes for the elderly via the AARP-TCE program. To be a volunteer tax preparer for the AARP-TCE program, one must take annual training to pass the IRS test of tax problems. One of the biggest challenges I face doing taxes for the elderly is that so many have a difficult time knowing what documents are important for tax purposes. And some get very forgetful even to the point of failing to mail returns, or portions thereof. I now try to do as much as I can "on line" for them; i.e. online efiling and direct depositing or direct debiting of funds. Must quit to attending our weekly Gideon prayer breakfast. It's always good hearing from you. We thinking about a pleasure trip to Savannah and Charleston next winter. If we make the trip via automobile, we might come through Auburn to visit with you and your family. Our eldest daughter, now 40, was born in the hospital in Opelika. We have pleasant memories of our Auburn days. cousin Richard of Tulsa
