Bob, Thanks for you quick reply. If we make our trip to Charleston and Savannah this fall or winter, I may try to swing up through Virginia to see where old Jeremiah was born there in Buckingham County. I have enough descriptive information of the area, I ought to be able to find the exact location of the old farm. I think the area remains very rural to this day. Our "common ancestor" it seems to me must have been at least one generation older than our James and John of Buckingham County. Or perhaps a brother that went south into North Carolina which would make James and John's father our common ancestor??? Without the help of old time friend Albert "Bones" Sorenson, I would have known hardly anyone attending our 45th class reunion.
