    3. Richard, I do hope you can drop by Auburn when you head to Charleston. Best route is probably Interstate 20 to Columbia, SC then on to Charleston. I agree. My Thomas Couch Sr in Brunswick County, VA by 1720 who had a son born that same year in Bristol Parish Brunswick County, VA would have probbly been older than your Captain and James Couch of Buckingham. I do believe they must connect a generation or so back in Coastal Virginia. Any ideas you have would be appreciated. If we make our trip to Charleston and Savannah this fall or winter, I may try to swing up through Virginia to see where old Jeremiah was born there in Buckingham County. I have enough descriptive information of the area, I ought to be able to find the exact location of the old farm. I think the area remains very rural to this day. Our "common ancestor" it seems to me must have been at least one generation older than our James and John of Buckingham County. Or perhaps a brother that went south into North Carolina which would make James and John's father our common ancestor??? Without the help of old time friend Albert "Bones" Sorenson, I would have known hardly anyone attending our 45th class reunion. Got a call just last week about having a 50th reunion sometime this spring or early summer. Don't know if I care for any more embarassing? cousin Richard of Tulsa ============================== Jumpstart your genealogy with OneWorldTree.
