Hi Kathryn, I too have had a computer crash recently but most of it has been restored. One site that may be of interest: http://www.genealogymagazine.com/georreubcouc.html gives a good history of Reuben. I believe that this site mentions my 2nd grt-grandfather George Washington Cope and the father of Martha Permelia Cope "Mattie". A short registar is on my Cope Website but I know very little about the COUCH family other that what is on the above website and my Cope Website. I descend from one of John Archibald "Archy" Couch's brothers - Robert Waite Couch. I have a picture of John Archibald Couch and his family, which includes your ancestors George Rueben and Martha Permelia Cope Couch. I have quite a bit of information on the Bedford County, TN Couch lines, and will be happy to share - but you will have to be patient with me. My computer crashed and I should find out soon if I get my data back or not. Let me know how I can help. You may also want to poke around Bill Couch's website: http://www.couchgenweb.com/couch/josephc.htm Best Regards, Kathryn --- Eddie <eddie.cope@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > Hi List, > My name is John Edward Cope "Eddie". > My connection to the COUCH line is as follows: > My 2nd grt-grandfather was George Washington Cope.
