Have research my COLLINS family at Minterburn (1829-1849). While the "current" cemetery is across the road from the church, the old original cemetery is beside and behind the church building. Original records of births and marriages were still kept on-site by the minister in 1984 and at a later visit about 1998. Please bear in mind that recoding of burials by the clergy was not a requirement of the Presbyterian church and there was no record of burials that I saw. That having been said, I was looking only in the above (1829-1849) period as the family moved to Belfast in 1850. I did not note any LITTLE names when I was there. John Collins on the go.
