Dennis, Although the congregation of Brigh Presbyterian Church was founded in 1630 (History of Congregations; Presbyterian Historical Society, Belfast, 1982), the surviving baptismal and marriage registers commence in 1837 (see PRONI Guide to Church Records). http://www.proni.gov.uk/guide_to_church_records.pdf This is not an unusual occurrence with Presbyterian records. These registers and further records (communicants' roll, committee minutes, etc.) have been microfilmed and may be searched (original images, not just indexes) at PRONI, Belfast.
