    3. Hi - I'm not sure I have sent a reply message back to the board correctly. So just in case:- Thank you to those who gave me replies to my query re Andrew Thomas STUART. I am looking for a marriage of Andrew Thomas STUART to Mary GILMOUR (GILMORE??). I know Andrew comes from the Castlestuart family and was born at Lisdhu House, Co. Tyrone in 1814. (Is this in Dungannon??) Would there be census lists which would show the family and staff/servants at Lisdhu House from around 1814 forward?? I have heard a story that Mary Gilmour may have been a servant, perhaps at the House. Her father is John as far as I know. >From her death notice in the Tasmanian papers she was born around 1824. I have traced a Mr and Mrs STEWART coming into Port Philip, Australia on the 'London' in 1840. In an obituary for Andrew I found that they arrived in 1840 and had gone farming with a fellow passenger, Olgivie, but drought forced them off and Andrew and Mary go to Tasmania by at least 1843 (third child born in Tasmania). First child, Andrew Godfrey STUART was born in Williamstown, Feb 1841. (christened in St. James Church, Melborne). In another obituary for another son of Andrew and Mary's it states that they came to Australia in 1837 and went farming before going to Tasmania. So perhaps they came as early as 1837 although the passenger list of 1840 seems the better 'fit' due to the fellow passengers by the name of Olgivie who it is said, in A T's obituary, they went sheep farming with. I do not know if Andrew Thomas and Mary left from Ireland or England aboard the 'London'. I would also like to know more about Mary GILMOUR. Looking for photo's of the STUART's too. Thanks, Rose
