Hi Further to Nivard's response. Once you open the PDF then you can use the 'find' option in your browser to look for a word -perhaps your ancestor or location. I looked up Twiss using this but there were no mentions. The article is very interesting and bears out some thoughts that I have had for ancestor chasing over the years. Neighbours in Ireland often turned out to be neighbours once they had emigrated to a new country. Also that the presence of people from a locality in Ireland (not necessarily related) having made the move to 'the new world' often inspired others back home to make the move. The second ones often stayed in the same locality and so you might see them in a census but often moved on.
