    3. Hi Margaret, Nice to hear from you again. Ballynahaye, Killeshill Parish, Co. Tyrone is what I believe it is. http://cotyroneireland.com/townlands/images/Killeeshil.pdf As for McCuster's list in the Tyrone Griffiths, there is a Bernard, Henry, Hugh, and Michael all listed in this townland. There is one Charles McCosker listed in Skeboy, Termonmaguirkin the Griffiths http://cotyroneireland.com/townlands/images/TermonmaguirkWest.pdf Put these in Google Maps directions Ballynahaye Road, Ballygawley, United Kingdom to Skeboy Road, Loughmacrory, United Kingdom and you will see they are 12 miles appart. This would be my best guess going by all the McCuskers listed in the Griffiths. This is the only townland which I believe could be a match. Seeing how there are so many McCuskers in Ballynahaye (Bllynaghy) maybe Charles was from this area originally Regards, Michael Kelly Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania, United States of America -----Original Message----- From: Margaret Donnelly Sent: Monday, June 10, 2013 3:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [CoTyIre] Assistance deciphering a location I could use a little assistance, please, in deciphering a location in County Tyrone. I have a 1911 obituary/death notice, from Philadelphia. The typeface is somewhat broken, from the microfilm, and I believe the location was misspelled in the original. I've browsed through my "A New Genealogical Atlas of Ireland," without settling on the absolute correct answer. The location appears to be "Bllynegby, County Tyrone." As with any broken typeface, an "I" could be an "L" or an "N" could be an "H," in lower case. The decedent is Roman Catholic, and her maiden name was McCusker or McKusker. She was age 42 at death in 1911. Parents were Charles and Mary. The death certificate lists her mother's maiden name as Clarke. The only found Civil Birth Registration for a Mary Anne McCusker for that era is 5 June 1868 to Charles and Mary Hagan, in Clonavaddy. Any suggestions would be welcome.
