The free access as I understand it is access to the *index* records of births, marriages, and deaths which are already freely available to search on familysearch.org. I am *not* aware of Findmypast.ie having a different or enhanced version of the index records (such as noting additional details such as the sub-district to which the event was registered. For example, in the Gortin Reg. Dist. distinguishing events registered at the Plumb Bridge sub-district versus the Gortin sub-district) From, Clare L.
