Hi all Wondering if anyone has any connection or an tips on my Faulkner,Kelly and Ross Ancestors of Cookstown Co Tyrone. Sarah born 1801 in Dungannon Co Tyrone.(nee Kelly) daughter of David Kelly and Sarah Ross, married William Faulkner born abt 1799 Killoon Co Tyrone. They married 1823 in Brigh Presbyterian Church, Stewartstown. William apparently sailed to USA Philadelphia for work sometime between 1842-1848. I can find no record of him anywhere. He consequently died following a fall on14 June1848 which was followed by a Coroners enquiry (Still can't find any record) Buried Franklin Kensington PA. Cemetery apparently now demolished. His wife Sarah, received a letter from Williams friend in PA with the news. She then emigrated to Australia with her children in 1850,.Their only Daughter Sarah died at sea from typhoid.I have managed to trace some records of her Family in Australia. But really intrigued as to what happened to William, or even the Ship he departed on. It seems quite a popular name unfortunately.Would really appreciate to hear from anyone who may have researched this Family or maybe able to steer me in the right direction.
