Be on your guard when applying for copy certs to the GRO, Belfast. I applied for a death cert on the stated understanding 'if this person was /could have been the widow of x, please send me a copy of the cert'. In the 100 or more cases when I've requested certs with similar qualifications in the past, the various records offices replied, when event in question didn't fit the bill, saying so and retuning my cheque. The Belfast GRO is the only record office who have sent a cert for a spinster in response to a request relating to a widow. _____________ Michael Burns To listen to my songs and tunes, go to http://michaelburns1.com/ >________________________________ > From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] >Sent: Friday, 11 October 2013, 8:00 >Subject: COTYRONEIRELAND Digest, Vol 8, Issue 254 > > > > >You are receiving this email because you subscribed to the CoTyroneIreland-D mailing list.
