Hello Listers My Great Great Grandmother was Rebecca Cameron born abt 1830 Pollyarnon / Pullyernan , Castlederg . She was the daughter of Andrew Cameron Born abt 1800. I have located Andrew in the Griffiths Valuation of 1858 but this is the only mention of this line that I have discovered. Despite intensive searching (deaths/burials etc) I have been unable to locate ANY Camerons from this area and yet I know there were several who had lived in this area from early 1800s on (Source: Early Church Records - Derg Parish Church). Where did the Camerons disappear to ? Any pointers and/or advice would be gratefully appreciated. Regards Mervyn Catterson

Mervyn, Have you checked the Griffith Valuations Revisions Books on PRONI to get an idea when they stop showing up in the area?
